This Sunday we are finishing our series in the book of 1 Samuel. This week we are in chapter 31. In this short chapter, we have the tragic end of Saul who exemplifies where wrong choices lead in a person’s life. Less than 24 hours later, Samuel’s haunting words come true as Saul, his family (sons), and his dynasty are destroyed. From this passage I want to share 3 results of Saul’s bad, sinful choices in his life. What can we learn about choices and decisions that we make in life? That they have consequences! Are you making good choices in your life? Our scripture reading is James 1:12-22 a passage that talks about temptations, how they happen and how to avoid them.
