This Sunday, we continue our series on the Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount.  We are now on the 3rd beatitude from chapter 5, verse 5.  Blessed, that is, to be approved of God, is the promise of these beatitudes that we are studying.  This time we look at the 3rd beatitude, which is blessed are the meek.  Jesus now addresses our relationship with other people.  While poor in spirit and they that mourn is in correlation with our relationship with God; being meek is how we are to relate with others.  What is the difference between meekness and weakness?  How can we be truly meek?  This Sunday we’ll answer these questions, look at Jesus as our example, and help you understand that by meekness you will inherit the earth.
