This Sunday we continue our series in the first epistle of John looking at chapter 5, verses 4-5.  In this message we’ll talk further about the birthmarks of a true believer.  Here John says that all true believers have overcome the world.  He also says how the true believer overcomes the world: by faith.  So, what specifically, has a believer overcome?  What is this faith?  Why is this significant?  Why does it matter?  And most of all, what does this mean to you in your everyday life?  This Sunday we will look at some facts about overcoming, defeating, conquering, vanquishing the world.
