This Sunday we continue our series on “noise” in our lives, and do we have a peace that should characterize the Christian life.  This Sunday, I want to talk to you about the “noise of temptation” again; this time from Exodus 33:17-19; and 34:6.  We all struggle with temptation in our lives.  What we need to know and do to get victory over temptation is very important.  Erwin Lutzer, in his book, “Getting to No” shares 3 conditions to victory that I think will be helpful as temptations are so difficult in your life.  We will look at these the next 2 Sunday’s.  The first one this week, and the next 2 the following week.  This week then, we will consider the first one: the goodness of God.  Do we really believe that God is good?  If we did, would we turn to temptation and our pet sins?  Remember Jesus wants to give you peace, not noise.  In this message I want to show you from God’s word His goodness in our lives that will help us to say “NO” to temptation!  More on this Sunday morning.
