The Noise of Temptation

This Sunday we continue our series on “noise” in our lives, and do we have a peace that should characterize the Christian life.  This Sunday, I want to talk to you about the “noise of temptation” from Galatians 5:16-25.  We all struggle with temptation in our lives.  Why are temptations so difficult in your life?  Why is doing wrong so much easier than doing right?  Couldn’t God make temptations to sin a lot easier in our life, or just keep us (for the most part) from being tempted?  Well yes, but, He chooses not to.  And why not?  Because He wants to show us and teach us _______?_______ (many things).  Remember Jesus wants to give you peace, not noise.  In this message I want to show you from God’s word and our text from God’s word 3 reasons for temptation and 3 purposes for temptation to help you get to the point of being able to say “NO” to temptation!  Do you struggle with temptation and thus creating “noise” in your life that could also keep you from God’s peace?  More on this Sunday morning.

See you Sunday,

Pastor Weaver
