This Sunday we will take a step away from our 1 John study in order to develop further what we have looked at the last 2 weeks about the Holy Spirit, conscience and confidence. We warned there to be careful what our conscience is saying and telling us, that it is truly Biblical.  This Sunday, I want to talk about something that should be true of every believer in their life; but is it?  In our text (John 14:25-28, plus other passages), John quotes what Christ says to his 12 disciples to encourage them in the world they live.  He speaks there of peace, not noise.  Peace from the comforter, the Holy Spirit.  Peace, of course, is huge in giving us confidence in our God. That’s what we want to talk about in this message.  Do you have peace?  What is the “noise” you possibly have going on in your life that could keep you from God’s peace?  All this and more on Sunday morning.
