This Sunday we will take a step away from our 1 John study and focus on the cross and celebrate the Lord’s supper.  Our text for this communion service is Galatians 6:14 & Colossians 1:20-29.  In these texts we have the apostle Paul explaining about the cross and what the cross ought to be for us.  That our glorying ought to be in nothing other than the cross of Jesus Christ.  Because of the cross we have many benefits; three I want us to see and focus on in the Colossians text this week.
