This Sunday, we continue our series on the Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount with the sixth beatitude from chapter 5, verse 8 “Blessed are the pure in heart.”  This beatitude is probably the most difficult, but also encompasses all the others; for indeed if we are pure in heart, we would have all the other beatitudes.  But how do we do this?  How can we be pure in our lives before a holy God?  And then the verse says: for they shall see God.”  How do we see God?  What does it really mean to be pure in heart, in order to see God?  This Sunday, we’ll talk about how we can truly strive to be pure in our heart before God.  More on all of this Sunday morning.
