This Sunday, once more for Christmas, we continue our series in the first 18 verses of John’s gospel. This Sunday we look at verses 10-18. Here we have what is the true meaning of Christmas. I think many times people get caught up in the “story” of Christmas and the details of all that, but then miss what the incarnation really meant! What does Jesus Christ (GOD) in the flesh, in a human body, really mean for us? Also, as the passage says, what is the significance of God revealed in the Son? What is the significance of our being adopted in the family of God? And how does all this communicate “grace on grace,” or “grace after grace” (vs.14, 16, 17)?
