This Sunday we continue our series in the first epistle of John looking at chapter 4, verses 7-21 a second time.  This is the second part of this text which talks about love. Here in these verses again, John wants to be sure believers understand this important topic of love.  And, as we said last week understand God’s great love to us.  John points out that Jesus showed, demonstrated, and proved love by paying the penalty of our sin on the cross.  John continues here in the text, showing how that love from God flows through us and is reflected to others, and that it truly shows that we love God because we love His creation (ALL people).  We will continue examining this passage this Sunday morning and give 2 more points that are in the text: 1. Love is from God, and 2. God commands us to love.  My hope is to help you understand love better by looking at God’s perfect love and how it is demonstrated through you.
