This Sunday, our series on the Beatitudes and the Sermon on the Mount continues again with the fourth beatitude from chapter 5, verse 6. We’re going to look at this particular beatitude again this week. Remember Jesus says that the blessed, approved of God person is the one who hungers and thirsts after righteousness. It is Jesus speaking of our spiritual to desire to do, and to be right. We talked last week about the definition and what it means to hunger physically and spiritually. This got me thinking, wondering if we really understand how to live out on a daily basis this hungering/thirsting for righteousness. So, this Sunday morning we will talk about practical ways and how we can live out this hungering and thirsting for righteousness.
