This Sunday, we will do a Mother Day’s message from a text starting at Hebrews 4:12-16. We will honor our moms for all that they do, have done, and the stamina that they show in all their work and efforts. Does anyone really understand the struggles and difficulties of motherhood (& fatherhood)? Does God, Jesus, understand? Of course He does, but this Sunday I want to look at 4 facts of a good mother (parent), and also investigate how Jesus experienced many of the same struggles and things in His time on this earth when He became and was the God-man (Hebrews 4:15). We also want to look at these facts as they relate to moms and dads of all ages – especially parents’ struggle as they work themselves out of a job.
